The role

this is what you will do

Together with the Category Manager, you put the category strategy into practice. You manage a clear assortment at item level, per season and collection, and ensure that new products, assortment changes, and delistings are processed timely and correctly for our stores, online, and abroad. You closely monitor the sales of your items, see what is and isn't working, also per size and color, and make proposals to improve the assortment. During product development, you are the link between suppliers, the offices in Asia, Design, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Packaging. You request samples and quotes, have them sent through, assess lab dips and print strike-offs, and test everything for fit, quality, cost price, and customer experience, while monitoring the planning so that products are ready for sale on time. You collect and analyze sales, market, trend, and competitor data and translate them into clear insights for the Category Manager. Additionally, you process price changes, fill in the promotion tool, check brochures, and ensure that product information is correct in all channels, from size guides and material composition to washing instructions. Is something not running smoothly? Then you flag it and think along about a better way of working.
