(Graduation) internship Hydraulic Engineering

We offer you the opportunity to gain experience within our water departments, both as a working internship and a research internship.

WSP provides advice and creates designs for our clients, from the final phase of a project through to execution, for all types of water projects in the Netherlands and beyond. This can include dike reinforcements, locks, quay walls, and port development. Leading projects we work on include Ruimte voor de Rivier 2.0, Moerdijk-Drimmelen Dike Reinforcement, Krammersluizen, locks in Sweden, and the construction of a new port on Saba. With over 500 colleagues in the Netherlands and over 72,000 WSPers worldwide, there is a personal atmosphere, and all necessary (international) knowledge is just one phone call away. This enables WSP to tackle complex, integrated issues.

During your internship, you will observe various projects, and you will have the opportunity to delve into your own research question. This allows you to develop broadly within the field and gain better insight into a potential future role. You will be assigned a permanent supervisor, but due to our informal work culture, you can easily step in with other colleagues. Naturally, we also offer you a good internship allowance.

• You are pursuing a HBO (applied sciences) or WO (research university) degree in Civil Engineering or similar;

• You have an affinity for designing (hydraulic) structures;

• You have a can-do mentality and are eager to learn;

• You possess good Dutch communication skills.
