The internship concerns a period of two months and will take place between September and December 2026. You will be working at a top international firm with an informal working atmosphere, where much enthusiasm and ambition are applied to further growth in and outside the Netherlands. We offer you an international, educational environment with many opportunities to develop yourself personally and professionally. We are looking for a student intern for our Disputes & Investigations team in Eindhoven.
As a student intern, you will work in the Disputes & Investigations section in Eindhoven and will be closely involved in all dimensions of our broad litigation practice. Namely, complex and international proceedings, commercial litigation, corporate litigation, collective actions, and arbitrations. Additionally, the Disputes & Investigations section supports the IP section in, among other things, patent disputes (for the UPC). Your duties will include:
Conducting literature and case law research;
Assisting in drafting legal opinions and assisting in correspondence to opposing parties, courts, or arbitration institutes, as well as collaborating on (part of) a pleading or a settlement agreement;
Contributing to the section's business development activities, such as writing articles and preparing flyers;
Attending client meetings or accompanying counsel to oral hearings; and
Attending the weekly section meeting, the monthly section lunch, and other social activities of the section and the office.
Winston Taylor offers the opportunity to get to know the Disputes & Investigations section and our organization. So, have you reached the final stage of your studies, do you have a demonstrable interest in civil procedural law, private international law, or property law, are you very meticulous and driven, and do you want to experience through an internship what it is like to work in an international law and notary firm? Then Winston Taylor is the place to be!
At Winston Taylor, we are always looking for the best talent, we stand for making a valuable contribution to society, and we embrace diversity. We also implement these core values in our selection procedure; the first selection is entirely anonymous. During the first phase (CV selection), our system ensures the complete anonymization of documents and data.
When a dispute leads to a lawsuit, civil procedural law determines the form of the proceedings. Thorough and in-depth knowledge of those rules, together with the necessary practical experience and strong analytical skills, is indispensable. Within our Disputes & Investigations team, complex and international proceedings are conducted and supervised, in the fields of both commercial litigation and corporate litigation. The team also has experience conducting (international) arbitrations for various institutes (such as NAI and ICC), as well as collective actions and (international) proceedings for the Unified Patent Court. The practice focuses on litigation in the Technology, Life Sciences, and Real Estate sectors, in which Winston Taylor's clients are particularly active.
