We are looking for a candidate with approximately 4 to 7 years of work experience in insolvency practice. This may be a mixed practice in which you have worked in both insolvency administration and advisory files. If you have gained work experience exclusively at a firm without insolvency administration practice, you are just as welcome. We would also like to get in contact with candidates who may have gained a few years of experience outside of the legal profession and are considering a return.
Furthermore, you have completed a (WO) Law degree, with a master's in private law or corporate law. You have a demonstrable affinity with insolvency law, possess strong analytical skills, and can work both independently and in a team. Finally, we expect you to possess excellent communication skills, including a good command of the English language.
You will work at an international top firm with an informal working atmosphere, where there is much enthusiasm and ambition to work towards further growth in and outside the Netherlands;
You can make use of all kinds of inspiring initiatives, such as our work-from-home and Family Matters policies and our vitality workshops and coaches;
Plenty of opportunity to develop yourself, to grow within the organization, and to get the best out of yourself;
You will work together with colleagues who have a passion for the profession, work pragmatically and solution-oriented, and are driven to achieve the optimal result for clients;
Excellent primary and secondary employment conditions, including a competitive salary and 30 vacation days per year (based on full-time employment);
The possibility to participate in national and international events;
Weekly office drinks, a vibrant winter party, a well-catered lunch, and much more!
Are you ready for a next step in insolvency practice, in which you will be substantively challenged and given responsibility? For our Restructuring & Insolvency team in Eindhoven, we are looking for a (Senior) Associate.
As a (Senior) Associate, you will independently participate in complex files and will be given the space to take on your own role within them. You will advise clients in restructuring and insolvency situations, participate in insolvency administration practice and proceedings, and communicate directly with clients, opposing parties, banks, and other stakeholders. Depending on your experience, you will mentor junior colleagues and actively contribute ideas regarding the further development of the practice.
In our practice, you will work on, among other things:
the winding up of bankruptcies and suspensions of payments;
the guidance of restructurings, WHOA proceedings, compositions, and refinancings;
assisting directors in a (pre-)insolvency situation, such as during the investigation of causes by the trustee and in cases of liability claims;
advising directors, financiers, investors, and companies in distress; proceedings regarding directors' liability, securities, and other insolvency law issues.
Our team has a specialized, yet also varied practice. We are regularly appointed by the court as bankruptcy trustees and as administrators in suspensions of payments. Additionally, we advise national and international clients on insolvency law issues and financial restructurings, and we regularly litigate on property law or insolvency law matters and directors' liability.
You will join a dedicated and specialized team, in which substantive quality and collaboration are central. The lines are short, we enjoy thinking along with one another, and we find it important that, alongside a serious practice, there is also room for fun and humor.
At Winston Taylor, we are always looking for the best talent, we stand for making a valuable contribution to society, and we embrace diversity. We also implement these core values in our selection procedure; the first selection is entirely anonymous. During the first phase (CV selection), our system ensures the complete anonymization of documents and data.
