As a Merchandise Planner, you play an important role in optimizing our inventory and sales performance. Together with colleagues from Buying, Stock Planning, and Sales, you ensure that the right products are available in the right quantities. You will get the chance to learn and grow within a dynamic retail environment, where you will receive responsibility for one or more product categories.

What are you going to do?

• Inventory planning & optimization: You monitor inventory levels and ensure the right balance between availability and efficient inventory management;

• Data analysis & forecasting: You analyze sales performance and trends to support decisions and improve inventory strategies;

• Collaboration with Buying & Stock Planning: You work closely with buyers to purchase the right products and align them with commercial objectives;

• Support with pricing and promotion strategies: You contribute to pricing, markdowns, and promotion proposals to optimize turnover and margin;

• Performance monitoring: You track sales and inventory figures and translate these into concrete actions;

• Development and growth: You learn step by step how to make strategic choices based on data and become increasingly involved in the planning and optimization processes.

• At least 1 year of experience in an analytical or commercial role within retail, for example as a junior merchandise planner, stock planner, or buyer;

• Affinity with numbers and data analysis - you have a sharp eye for trends and connections;

• Good knowledge of Excel and preferably experience with BI tools;

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with different teams;

• A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude - you think in solutions and look ahead;

• Excellent command of the Dutch language and English is a plus.
