Senior Facility Manager Retail
Are you an experienced professional who gets energy from managing shopping centers and optimizing facility services? Do you have experience with service charge costs, supplier management, and stakeholder management, and do you switch easily between tenants, owners, municipalities, and suppliers?
For our Asset Services department, we are looking for a Senior Facility Manager Retail & Shopping Centers. In this versatile role, you are responsible for the facility, operational, and administrative management of a portfolio of shopping centers. You ensure that our shopping centers remain clean, intact, safe, and attractive to visitors and retailers.
You will join a professional and committed Retail Asset Services team where collaboration is central. From our office in Utrecht, you will work together with colleagues who love to share their knowledge and you will receive all the space to further develop yourself within the real estate sector.
You are responsible for both the daily facility management and the financial and administrative management of a portfolio of shopping centers. Here, the focus lies on an optimal visitor experience, high tenant satisfaction, and manageable operations for the owner.
You are regularly present on-site to assess the quality of service, manage suppliers, and maintain contact with tenants. At the same time, you are responsible for service charge budgets, settlements, reporting, and contract management. In doing so, you fulfill an important pivotal role between operations, administration, and asset management.
Your responsibilities include:
You work closely with Account Managers, Technical Managers, Finance, and external service providers and contribute to an optimal experience for visitors, retailers, and owners.
We are looking for an experienced facility professional with a clear vision on service delivery within retail real estate. You understand that a shopping center can only be successful when visitors, tenants, and owners can rely on a safe, clean, and well-organized environment.
You are analytically strong, commercially aware, and possess excellent communication skills. You know how to bring interests together, take ownership, and are a strong interlocutor at both operational and tactical levels.
With your experience, you know how to effectively manage suppliers, improve processes, and continuously increase the quality of service.
You feel at home not only on-site in the shopping center but also behind your desk. You work in a structured manner, maintain an overview of financial and administrative processes, and have experience with service charge administration, budget monitoring, and reporting. You understand the impact of facility choices on the operation of a shopping center and know how to advise proactively on this.
