The role

Are you a work preparer and do you have experience within civil engineering? Then VSF is looking for you!

At VSF, we are looking for an experienced civil engineering work preparer for complex foundation and infrastructure projects throughout the Netherlands. From inner-city construction in Amsterdam or Utrecht to large-scale infrastructural works in Noord-Brabant or the Randstad, you ensure that every project is prepared to perfection. As a civil engineering work preparer, you contribute to both the design phase and the realization phase of our projects. You help determine what the most efficient working method is and work this out completely: from the first sketch to delivery. In doing so, you make use of BIM and other specialized software to optimally prepare phases and execution methods, always within the established frameworks and project requirements.

What you'll do

Your tasks as a civil engineering work preparer include:

Developing working methodologies and phasing using BIM
Consulting structurally with fellow work preparers, site managers, and the project leader
Drafting and managing project documentation from preparation to delivery
Actively monitoring safety and environmental standards in accordance with VSF's WAVE values
Coordinating subcontractor deployment and equipment with execution and project management
Monitoring project costs, identifying and registering changes
Contributing to the development of work preparation within the organization via the professional group

Can we also count on you?

Within VSF, we find safety very important; we are at step 5 of the Safety Ladder for a reason! Therefore, you always take this aspect into account in your considerations
You have an affinity with BIM, 4D, and BI tooling
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the work preparation of foundation projects
A completed (technical) education at mbo, hbo, or wo level, for example civil engineering or built environment
You are available 24 to 32 hours per week
