Then the role of Tender Manager at Gebr. Van Kessel is perfect for you. You will lead our tender process from selection through to the final submission. You are the connecting factor within the tender team - with a sharp eye for quality, collaboration, and results.

With your arrival, you will ensure that your tender team works together effectively and purposefully. You bring structure to the tender, ensure a clear division of roles, and maintain the overview. Whether it concerns RAW with EMVI, UAV-GC, or Construction Teams: you bring the right strategy to the table and drive towards a convincing submission. Projects up to a size of 25 million you will handle independently from our tender bureau. For larger or integrated projects, you will work closely with other KWS branches or VolkerWessels enterprises.

As Tender Manager, you lead the tender team within Gebr. Van Kessel. You assemble the team, determine the course, and ensure the right capacity in people and resources. You are responsible for the design and management of the entire tender process - from internal coordination to presentation to steering groups and management.

You analyze tender documents, identify risks and opportunities, and work together with specialists within our organization to arrive at a sharp offer.

You develop and substantiate an EMVI strategy that fits both the client and our organization. After submitting the tender, you ensure a careful handover to operations and evaluate the process together with the client. This is how we build towards structural improvement.

Depending on the size of the project, you lead a team ranging from 2 to 10 people. You liaise with stakeholders both within and outside the organization and represent Gebr. Van Kessel with conviction and professional expertise. As tender manager, you are part of the tender bureau, consisting of a manager and 10 employees. During the weekly stand, you share experiences within the tender bureau, and 8 times a year we look at company-wide developments in the departmental meeting.

From the tender bureau, as Tender Manager, you work on tenders in various disciplines. Think of road construction, sports & landscape engineering, and (multi-year) maintenance of roads and structures. This makes your work surprisingly versatile and you will never grow tired of the activities. A number of examples for which we have recently submitted (and won!) are Stadsforum Tilburg, Wolfheze underpass (Integrated Civil), and N790 Wilpsedijk.

Your strength is connecting people, processes, and content. You think strategically, but do not lose sight of the execution. In doing so, you work creatively and entrepreneurially, searching for custom solutions. You know how to motivate and lead your team, even under time pressure. You are analytically strong, communicate clearly, and present convincingly to stakeholders. You can deal with disappointments and take responsibility for the result. Furthermore, you have:

• a completed HBO or WO degree

• experience with tender processes and contract forms such as UAV, UAV-GC, and Construction Teams
