Tender Coordinator

• HBO (higher professional education) level of working and thinking.

• A few years of experience within tenders, procurement, or tender management.

• Experience with MEAT/BPKV processes is a plus.

Within Ballast Nedam Infra Technologies, you will work from Utrecht, Rotterdam, and partly from home on one of the most challenging tender processes at this moment. Due to the expansion of the tender team, we are looking for a Tender Coordinator who will work together with an experienced Senior Tender Manager on the bid for the Beneluxtunnel.

This tender is special because it does not concern a standard procurement process. The knowledge, experiences, and results from the Noordtunnel form an important basis for the new bid. You will help to analyze, record, and translate these insights into a convincing plan for the Beneluxtunnel.

You will work daily with specialists from various disciplines, including the Technical Manager, Contract Manager, Process Manager, Design Manager, and Head of Estimation. Additionally, you will have contact with Rijkswaterstaat and ensure that agreements, questions, answers, and decisions are carefully recorded.

As a Tender Coordinator, you will get plenty of room to learn from experienced colleagues. At the same time, you will receive an important role in monitoring processes, collecting information, and preparing documents that are decisive for the success of the tender.

The greatest challenge lies in the complexity of the tunnel project, applying lessons from previous assignments, and jointly developing a bid within an innovative contract form.

A summary of your activities

• Translating lessons from previous tunnel projects into plans for the Beneluxtunnel.

• Drafting and coordinating BPKV (Most Economically Advantageous Tender) and tender documentation.

• Recording agreements, decisions, and consultations with Rijkswaterstaat.

• Monitoring planning, progress, and actions within the tender process.

• Collecting, structuring, and processing input from various disciplines.

• Supporting the Senior Tender Manager in the preparation of the bid.

• Contributing to a distinctive and well-substantiated tender strategy.
