Due to an increase in work, we will soon be able to deploy our new, complete Asphalt set. But merely placing this beautiful equipment on location is not enough to lay roads. We are therefore looking for new colleagues who want to man this set to help realize our new projects and works. Are you familiar with this type of equipment and work? Then apply directly!

Screed Operator
Operating the asphalt paver, which you do together with the operator. You are responsible for the screed, which is located at the rear of the machine. You are the specialist and know how to set the screed and what to look out for when laying the asphalt. For example, think of the correct spreading and thickness of the asphalt layers.

Asphalt Paver Operator
Together with the screed operator, the asphalt paver operator is responsible for ensuring that the asphalt layer is laid according to plan. You prepare the machine for operation, drive and move the asphalt paver, and manage the working speed. You handle the maintenance of the machine and, if there are machine malfunctions, you detect and resolve them.

Roller Operator
You are responsible for the high-quality and responsible compaction of the asphalt pavements. In this role, it is important that you strive for quality and good work, as you, as the operator, bear responsibility for the applied asphalt layer. As a Roller Operator, you work with various rollers (tandem, static, three-wheel, and pneumatic tire rollers).

Spray Truck Driver/Tack Coat Machine Operator
You are responsible for applying the tack coat to the asphalt pavements. A driver of a tack coat machine applies bitumen emulsion to the road surface. This adhesive ensures good bonding between asphalt layers. The driver operates the vehicle, operates the spraying installation, and ensures an even distribution. He works closely with the asphalt team and follows strict safety regulations. This work is essential for durable and stable roads.

Within the asphalt crew, every team member is responsible for:

• The quality and progress of the work, based on the agreements made with the asphalt supervisor and the established procedures;

• Being jointly responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, in accordance with the instructions in the manual.

• Being available full-time;

• Knowledge and experience of working within an asphalt crew;

• Recognized (roller) operator diploma or willingness to obtain one;

• Flexibility to work irregular hours, such as night and weekend work;

• Knowledge of and awareness regarding traffic safety;

• Driver's license;

• Possessing certification is a plus. If this is lacking, obtaining it is a must.
