Technical Painting and Repair Assistant (Armored Wheeled Vehicles)

For the production and finishing of our advanced, heavy armored wheeled vehicles, Rheinmetall Defence Nederland BV is looking for an enthusiastic technical assistant who enjoys performing supporting activities within the assembly process. In this role, together with the team, you will ensure that the equipment looks sleek and well-maintained.

• Your main task is the careful and neat painting, touch-up, and repair of specific parts or damages to the vehicle (both paintwork and special coatings)
• Assisting the assembly technicians with various manual tasks and light assembly work around the vehicles
• Visually inspecting the surface and the finish, so that every vehicle meets the strict optical and qualitative defense standards
• Preparing materials, tools, and paint products, and keeping the workplace tidy
• Communicating closely with the assembly team and the quality department

• A completed MBO education at level 2 (for example, in the direction of painting technology, bodywork, fine metal, or another technical/craft direction)
• Strong affinity with painting, coating techniques, surface treatment, or repair work
• Handy go-getter, preferably with some experience in a technical workshop, car spray booth, or production environment
• Eye for detail, accurate, proactive, quality-oriented, and a true team player
• Good command of the Dutch language; knowledge of English is a plus
• The ability to provide a positive Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is a condition for appointment

• Salary: A market-conform gross monthly salary between € 3,000.- and € 3,200.-, depending on your knowledge and work experience
