Asphalt roller operator

• The salary for this position is the gross guaranteed wage according to function group D: € 3,628.80 per 4-week period (based on 40 hours).

• In addition, you can count on a performance bonus per period, depending on your work experience.

• On top of your salary comes a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (4.51% according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement).

• 48 leave days per year according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement. The value of 18 of these days is deposited into the Time Savings Fund.

As a roller operator at Dura Vermeer Infra Asfalt, you are responsible for the compaction and finishing of asphalt pavements. You work closely with your colleagues in the asphalt team and ensure that roads, cycle paths, and industrial areas are delivered perfectly. Your role is essential in the process, where you ensure optimal compaction and a smooth result. The work is in the North Holland and Flevoland region.

This will be your job

• Operating various types of roller machines;

• Checking the compaction and layer thickness of the asphalt;

• Identifying irregularities and coordinating with the foreman or asphalt crew;

• Ensuring the daily maintenance of the machine;

• Collaborating with colleagues to successfully complete projects;

• Working according to safety regulations and quality standards.

• You have a healthy dose of enthusiasm to achieve successes together with the asphalt crew;

• You are willing to travel in the South Holland, West Brabant, and Zeeland regions;

• You are willing to work nights and weekends;

• You have gained experience as a Balkman;

• You have completed the MBO education for Balkman.
