What we're looking for

Completed MBO or HBO education in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Installation Technology
At least 2 years of relevant experience as a BIM modeller
Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
Willingness to travel to project locations

Nice to have

Knowledge of BIM standards (such as ISO 19650) and affinity with Systems Engineering is a plus
Experience with clash detection is a plus

The role

As a BIM modeller, you will work on infrastructure projects such as tunnels, bridges, locks, traffic systems, and airports. You translate design and engineering information into accurate 3D models and integrate various disciplines into a single whole. You coordinate model quality and keep the model up to date so that teams can collaborate efficiently. In doing so, you reduce failure costs and make a difference in design and execution. You work closely with engineers, project leaders, site managers, and other stakeholders. Depending on your experience, a coordinating role towards A- and B-modellers is also possible.

What will you do?

Modeling of infrastructural objects in 2D and 3D using Revit and AutoCAD
Integrating various technical disciplines into one coherent BIM model
Checking and coordinating model quality
Keeping models up-to-date and ensuring alignment between all disciplines
Supporting the design and execution team with current and reliable model information
Contributing to the further development of BIM within Vialis, such as digital twin and Autodesk
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for smooth information exchange
