Junior modeler

Does designing technical installations in 3D sound cool to you? And are you curious about how a project comes to life? Then this is your chance! With us, you will learn the profession of modeler while working directly on our projects in swimming pool technology! No experience needed; more important is that you are enthusiastic, curious, and motivated—we are happy to teach you the rest.

This is what you will do
From 3D model to a real swimming pool
Have you ever thought about all the technology hidden inside a swimming pool? Think of kilometers of pipes, pumps, and filters that ensure the pool water remains clean, warm, and safe.

As a junior modeler, you will learn how to design these installations in 3D. You will essentially build a digital model of the technical installations, containing all the data needed for the realization of a project. Where do the pipes go? How do the various components connect to each other? And will everything actually be buildable later on? Because what you create on your screen eventually becomes reality! This is what you will do on an average workday:

• You consult with the work preparer and the project leader and collect all necessary information;

• You work in the Revit program, with which you design technical installations in 3D;

• You develop the 3D models into working drawings, which our installers can use to get to work;

• You think along about solutions, so that the design is completely correct and no problems arise on the construction site.

Don't worry, we don't expect you to be able to do all of this already! From day one, we will bring you along in the work. You will primarily learn by doing, receive good guidance from experienced colleagues, and start working more independently. This way, you will gain more responsibility step by step and grow in your role. And after a while, you will look back with pride at the projects you have worked on!

What kind of projects will you be working on?
No standard buildings or installations! Within Water Treatment, we primarily work on swimming pools; currently, we are working on projects such as the Winkelsteeg sports complex in Nijmegen, the Bosbad in Emmeloord, and the de Waterlelie swimming pool in Aalsmeer. But our technology is also used, for example, in the musical Willem van Oranje, for which our colleagues recently modeled the skid.

This is you
You are curious about technology, take initiative, and enjoy learning new things. You really don't need to know everything, but you dare to ask if you get stuck. You like working together to achieve goals and enjoy creating something beautiful together with colleagues. And a pleasant working atmosphere? You find that at least as important! Furthermore, we would like to see:

• MBO working and thinking level;

• interest in technology and motivation to learn a new profession.

Do you already have experience in installation technology or have you worked with Revit 3D before? That's a great bonus! But you are welcome even without experience. Perhaps you have just completed your education or you are currently working in a completely different role and would like to move into technology. Whatever your background may be: as long as you are motivated, we will teach you everything you need to know!

Your new workplace
You are part of the Water Treatment department and you work from our modern head office in Nunspeet. You are part of the project team in which you work together with work preparers, the project leader, modelers from other disciplines, and the planning coordinator. You are never alone: we help each other and share our knowledge. Everyone is committed to good results, good cooperation, and a good atmosphere. Hard work is done, but there is also plenty of room for socializing. From sporting activities to kicking off the weekend together during the VrijMiBo.

Our Water & Leisure technology business unit has been a household name for 55 years when it comes to electrical, mechanical, and water treatment installations for public swimming pools, sports complexes, wellness resorts, and the most luxurious yachts.
