At Westo, we make high-quality prefab concrete used for facade elements and main load-bearing structures of offices, apartments, and houses. We manufacture this in our factories in Coevorden and Laar (D) and it is assembled on the construction site; an efficient and sustainable process that we are constantly optimizing.

As an assistant project manager, you have a versatile role. You are the pivot in the process from development to the realization of the prefab concrete elements. You translate the customer's needs into an effective process, where you manage manufacturability, quality, and budget.

You lead the process from A to Z. You communicate with all involved parties: internally, the customer, structural engineers, and architects. You are closely involved with the factory where the concrete elements are made. At our production location in Coevorden and/or Laar, you typically work 4 days per week and on average 1 day per week at a project location in the Netherlands. You report to the project manager within Westo.

• Thinking along regarding prefab solutions / a realizable design;

• Coordinating engineering processes;

• Production preparation;

• Creating production schedules;

• Preparing project-specific procurement;

• Monitoring the budget;

• Coordination with production, suppliers, and subcontractors;

• In short, a varied position in terms of both duties and contact with externals and other VolkerWessels companies.
