Requirements
What we're looking for
- At least a completed MBO level 3 education in metalworking
- Several years of experience in resistance welding, spot welding, or projection welding
- Experience with welding various materials and sheet metal
- You can independently assemble welding components and read drawings

The role
What will you do?
As a spot welder, you are indispensable in the assembly of complex high-tech frames for, for example, chip machines. You work fully certified and with the latest welding techniques on various materials such as aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and duplex. In our modern sheet metal workshop at the XL Businesspark in Almelo, you will work with the latest press brakes, MIG/MAG equipment, TIG equipment, fixed welding setups, manipulators, and a cobot.
What you'll do
- Operating machines and welding plates and nuts
- Setting up welding programs
- Performing spot and projection welding connections of sheet metal, nuts, and other components according to drawings and work instructions
- Welding where every weld is inspected by our customer
- Following additional (spot) welding training and certifications (provided by VDL ETG Almelo)
