Manufacturing Engineer

• At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role.

• Completed HBO or WO degree in a Technical field: such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Technology.

• Good communication skills: in both Dutch and English.

• You have knowledge of manufacturing processes: and of APQP or similar standards.

• You are also good at project management.

Are you the engineer who knows how to translate technical data packages into a complete and robust production process? Are you in the middle of your career and ready for a new challenge? Then we would love to talk to you!

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you are the link between the customer and production. You translate technical data packages into an efficient production route, so that PCBAs and related assemblies can be produced optimally.

What will you do?

• Process design: You coordinate the trajectory from technical package to end product. Think of drafting work instructions, programming machines, developing tooling, and setting up digital routings.

• Technical control: You assess product designs, drawings, and bills of materials for usability and technical feasibility.

• Initiating analyses: You perform, among other things, DfX analyses and feed these back to the product design. You also participate in DFMEAs.

• Setting up production systems: You ensure traceability and the safeguarding of processes.

• Setting up work processes: You develop clear work processes for operators in production.

• Technical challenging: You provide (technical) feedback to internal teams and customers when you identify points for improvement.

• Releasing process design: You are responsible for the final approval of the production process.
