The role
Merging hundreds of steel and aluminum section parts requires craftsmanship. As a TIG Welder, you ensure that these parts become a single whole. In doing so, we place high demands on the quality and appearance of the weld. A clean weld is technically sound.
You work on the hulls and deckhouses of impressive Feadships. Not standard production work, but work on unique projects where accuracy is important. You weld various constructions and connections and ensure that the welding work meets the specified quality requirements.
As a TIG Welder, you know how important good preparation, the correct welding settings, and a constant working method are. You have an eye for detail and work neatly.
The work requires experience and independence. You work with steel and aluminum and deal with various plate thicknesses, positions, and constructions. In addition, it is important that you can read technical drawings and work according to the applicable procedures and quality requirements.
We are looking for an experienced welder with at least 5 years of experience, preferably gained in yacht or shipbuilding. You know the TIG welding process and know what is required to make a high-quality and neat weld.
Do you like working with your hands, do you have an eye for quality, and are you proud of good welding work? Then this is a position in which you can fully utilize your craftsmanship.
Will you turn hundreds of section parts into one strong and clean whole? Then we would like to meet you.
