Pharmaceutical Production Worker

Welcome to SPITS Alkmaar
At SPITS Alkmaar, we produce the MediRol. The MediRol consists of medication pouches that are packed per administration moment. Together, these pouches form a roll of medication for a certain period (for example, 1 week); the MediRol is used by patients at home, in healthcare institutions, and in prisons.

With approximately 180 responsible employees, we provide medication for over 200 pharmacies and healthcare institutions. We are located in a modern building on the Diamantweg in Alkmaar. The company premises also feature a company restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious lunch and/or dinner, and a modernly designed gym, which every colleague can use free of charge.

A meaningful job as a pharmaceutical production worker
As a Pharmaceutical Production Worker, you will work in the production department, under the guidance of a group of team leaders and a Production Manager. In the production department, you will perform various tasks according to fixed rules and procedures; these are very important to ensure the quality of the MediRols.

Upon employment, you will first receive internal training. Through this internal training, you will be qualified for various tasks within the production process. This way, you will be broadly deployable and the work will remain varied!

Tasks within the production process:

• Machine operator;
• booking in and stock processing;
• packaging the MediRols;
• checking and correcting.

What qualities do you bring with you
Just like us, you place a high value on quality. It is a responsible production role, in which you perform meaningful work for our patients. You can work well independently, but also enjoy working in a team to meet deadlines together. Because of this, we expect you to be nice and flexible.

Are you 18+, do you have a high sense of responsibility, do you speak and write Dutch at a good to excellent level, and do you have no study plans for the coming year? Then apply for this position!

Job requirements:

• Available at least 20 hours per week;
• at least 18 years old
• good command of the Dutch language;
• flexible (no 9-5 mentality), available at least 2 evenings per week and 2 Saturdays per month;
• quality-oriented;
• high sense of responsibility;

Working hours
Monday through Friday, we are open from 08:00 in the morning until 21:30 in the evening.
On Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00. We work in fixed roster blocks.
During a telephone intake, availability will be discussed with you.
Please note availability: at least 2 evenings per week and 2 Saturdays per month. (this will also be discussed in consultation)
