Requirements

What we're looking for

A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in a technical field;
Experience in technology. Experience in metalworking is a plus;
Skilled in setting priorities and motivating others;
Positive, persistent, structured, analytical, and result-oriented;
Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding Health & Safety and Environment;
Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO 14001 & EN 1090;
Familiar with statistical techniques and mastery of systems;
Good command of the Dutch and English languages.

The role

Your role

As a QHSE Manager at VDL HMI, you are part of the management team and are responsible for the overall quality policy. Your field of work encompasses technical, quality, health & safety, and environmental aspects. Sustainability is highly valued within VDL HMI.

What you'll do

Developing and managing quality and environmental systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & EN 1090)
Developing and managing sustainability aspects (CO2 performance ladder, MKI & CSRD)
Guiding internal and external audits, reporting findings, and following up on actions
Initiating improvement projects and taking corrective and preventive measures
Leading the quality department, consisting of three colleagues in the measurement room and one welding coordinator.
Stimulating quality awareness within the entire organization
