The role
You ensure that our safety and quality are correct. In this role, you work close to the lab floor and see the direct effect of your work. You safeguard processes, support colleagues, and help our organization become a little better every day. You combine prevention tasks with quality work and switch gears easily when many things happen at once. You work accurately, communicate clearly, and contribute to a safe and high-quality working environment.
What you'll do
As a QHSE‑Coordinator, you combine two roles: approximately 50% prevention tasks and 50% quality work. You work in an environment where safety, quality, and collaboration are central.
You draw up the RI&E and the Plan of Approach, update them, and ensure that measures are implemented. You advise managers on working conditions and safety issues. You work together with occupational health experts, the company doctor, and the works council. You analyze safety reports, incidents, and near‑misses and ensure proper follow-up. You stimulate a proactive safety culture.
You maintain and improve the quality system according to ISO/IEC 17025. You keep procedures and work instructions up to date, coordinate proficiency testing and external calibrations, and support colleagues with quality questions. You provide training and awareness sessions, conduct internal audits, and guide improvement initiatives. You identify risks and opportunities and translate these into concrete improvement measures.
You are given space for your own initiative and see the direct result of your work. Good ideas to improve safety, quality, and processes are actively encouraged.
What makes this position special?
- You work on a safe lab environment and safeguard our ISO/IEC 17025 quality.
