What we're looking for

  • University or Higher Professional Education (WO/HBO+) level of working and thinking, supplemented by specialized training (QHSE).
  • Demonstrable experience in the field of quality, health, safety, and environment, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of ISO 17025.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
  • Organizationally sensitive and able to bring stakeholders along in changes.
  • Risk-oriented thinking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Available for 32 – 40 hours per week.

As QHSE Manager, you will provide direction to our QHSE strategy and contribute to a safe and compliant organization. Furthermore, we offer you:

  • A market-conform salary of at least € 4547 and at most € 6739  gross per month (based on full-time), depending on experience;

The role

For the QHSE department, we are looking for a QHSE Manager. Do you want to contribute to a sustainable future and work in an organization that makes an impact on society? In this role, you will provide direction to the development, implementation, and monitoring of Eurofins Agro's QHSE policy. Thanks to your management experience and overview, you know how to maintain the right course and bring colleagues along in changes. What you'll do

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring the QHSE policy.
  • Leading a team of 4 QHSE advisors and stimulating their further development.
  • Advising management and the board on QHSE issues and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, accreditation requirements, and quality standards.
  • Coordinating and supervising internal and external audits.
  • Organizing and monitoring occupational health and safety policy, including RI&E processes.
  • Coordinating the BHV (Emergency Response).
  • Managing the quality management system and the QHSE processes established therein.
  • Promoting quality, safety, and environmental awareness within the organization.

The QHSE department is responsible for developing, implementing, and ensuring policy in the areas of quality, health, safety, and environment within Eurofins Agro. The department supports the organization in complying with laws and regulations, accreditation requirements, and internal quality standards, and stimulates a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, QHSE makes an active contribution to organization-wide projects, such as automation, the implementation of new applications, and process optimization. A well-functioning quality and safety management system is essential to continue meeting the expectations of customers, employees, and other stakeholders.

Eurofins Agro investigates soil, roughage, crops, manure and compost for farmers and growers in the Netherlands and the rest of the world. With a complete package of sampling, analyses and advice, we help agricultural entrepreneurs to produce food of optimal quality in a sustainable manner.
