The role

As a Communications Advisor at VDL Enabling Technologies Group (VDL ETG) in Eindhoven, you will work in an international organization that develops and produces advanced modules, systems, and complete machines for, among others, the semiconductor industry, analytical equipment, and other high-tech markets. In this role, you are responsible for advising, developing, and executing activities in the field of internal communication and employer branding. From our location in Eindhoven, you will ensure that colleagues remain well-informed, engaged, and connected to our organization, while simultaneously contributing to a strong employer brand. In doing so, you will work closely with colleagues from VDL Group and the various VDL ETG locations in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Singapore, China, Vietnam, and the United States to shape our communication clearly, professionally, and consistently.

In this versatile role, you will be involved in, among other things:

• Communication advice: You advise managers, project teams, and HR on various communication issues and provide operational support for projects such as onboarding, change processes, and other internal campaigns.
• Internal communication: You develop, manage, and improve our internal communication channels and messaging, ensuring that colleagues are informed in a timely and appropriate manner. With this, you strengthen the engagement of our employees.
• Employer branding & social media: You work on strengthening the VDL ETG employer brand. You develop content for platforms including LinkedIn, write interviews and success stories, supervise photo and video shoots, and support employer branding campaigns aimed at attracting technical talent.
• Events: You support the organization of events such as company visits, trade fairs, open days, and internal meetings.

• Challenging communication projects for internal and external target groups.

You are an energetic communications professional who works independently, takes initiative, and switches easily between different levels within the organization.
