Internal Communications Advisor Intern

As an Internal Communications Advisor, you translate our Simplify and Grow strategy into clear communication that informs, engages, and mobilizes managers and employees.

As an Internal Communications Advisor at ASN Bank, you will tackle diverse communication challenges. You advise management and (project) teams and develop communication plans and tools that strengthen our core values, strategy, and reputation.

• You develop communication plans aimed at bank-wide communication for managers and employees, and you direct their excellent execution.
• You ensure consistency in content, approach, and messaging, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
• You monitor the progress of communication projects and adjust where necessary, in close cooperation with internal stakeholders.
• You follow societal and professional developments and translate these into advice for the organization.
• You actively build your network within ASN Bank so that you know what is happening. You utilize this knowledge to provide sharp and appropriate communication advice to ensure internal communication aligns even better with what the organization needs.
• You work independently and, where appropriate, also collaborate with senior communication advisors on communication challenges.

The atmosphere is open, engaged, and content-driven—we share knowledge, celebrate successes, and enjoy brainstorming about the profession. We meet regularly at the office in Utrecht to keep the collaboration alive.

• HBO/WO working and thinking level, preferably in communications or a related field. Experience within the financial sector is a must.
• 4-6 years of experience as an internal communications advisor in a corporate environment.
• Flair, confidence, and advisory power.
• Makes contact easily, collaborates, and knows how to achieve goals through effective stakeholder management.
• Organizationally strong and a pragmatic approach: switching gears quickly, setting priorities, and getting things done.
• Also willing to roll up your own sleeves.
