The role

As a CNC Turner at VDL GL Precision, you are responsible for the independent production of high-quality precision parts on advanced CNC turning and turn-mill combinations. You will work on single pieces, prototypes, and small series where no two days are the same. Thanks to the complexity of the products, you will receive plenty of room to apply your craftsmanship and technical knowledge. Your activities include:

• Setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathes
• Machining high-quality and exotic materials such as stainless steel, Invar 36, Mu-metal, and special alloys
• Determining the correct machining strategy, tools, and clamping techniques
• Checking products for dimensions and quality

You will work with a modern machine park consisting of, among others:

• Okuma (B300 and U3000)
• DMG Mori (CTX 800, CTX 1250 and other models)
• Hembrug machines

In addition, you will work with controls such as OSP200/300, Siemens, and Fanuc.
