Are you looking for an exciting job in high-end industry? KVE Composites BV is looking for a CNC Miller to join our current team. KVE is a fast-growing "Design and Build" company in the high-performance composites industry. We carry out projects from A to Z for our customers in the most diverse industries such as the Aerospace, Defense, Maritime, and Mechanical Engineering industries.

As a CNC Miller, you will hold an important position within KVE. Your activities consist of setting up and machining single pieces and small series on our modern 5-axis simultaneous machining machines. In consultation with the team, you will determine the milling strategy, clamping, and intermediate inspections. Together with the team, you are responsible for the machining department, machining machines, related machines, and tools. For all business lines within KVE, we machine (composite) semi-finished and finished products, laminating molds, high-precision dies, and all kinds of production tooling. The products range from small parts and samples to large complex assemblies made from a variety of materials and material combinations. You will work in a young and dynamic team where no two days are the same and where you will be challenged every day.

You have a passion for machining and large, precise machining machines, preferably also specifically in relation to fiber-reinforced plastics. Additionally, you are not afraid of a challenge and you are willing to further develop yourself. You are handy, flexible, proactive, eager to learn, and cooperative, and you work accurately and efficiently, both independently and in a team. You want to further develop yourself into a craftsman in the milling of composite parts. Most of your time will be spent milling composite products and tools to make and test these products. Maintaining the machines is also among your responsibilities. There is a great variety of products at KVE, so there is no monotonous work.

• Preferably, you have completed an MBO education in the direction of Miller, Machining Technologist, Mechanical Engineering, or (Research) Toolmaker, or at least have some experience with machining;

• You master the Dutch language in speech and writing and preferably also the English language;

• It is nice if you have a driver's license B / BE;

• You reside in the Netherlands, preferably The Hague and surrounding areas.

• Independently (learning) 5-axis milling of composite and metal products;

• Calling up CNC programs;

• Handling standard measuring instruments;

• Performing (quality) controls on machined and laminated products;

• Providing preventive maintenance;

• Thinking along regarding machining sequences and procedures;
