The role

The position
For our Sheet Metal department in Gorinchem, we are looking for a CNC Edge Bander / CNC operator. In this position, you are responsible for the independent setup, programming, and operation of CNC-controlled edge banding machines and/or sheet metal processing machines. You will work entirely at our production location and produce high-quality sheet metal components used in, among other things, sound-insulating doors, facade systems, and technical enclosures. It largely concerns custom work and smaller series, ensuring your work remains varied and technically challenging.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

Setting up and operating CNC edge banding machines and/or sheet metal processing machines
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Independent programming (adjusting existing programs or creating new ones)
Checking dimensions and performing quality controls
Reconfiguring machines and changing tools
Identifying deviations and thinking along about process improvements
Ensuring a safe and tidy workplace

Requirements

You bring
We are looking for an accurate and technically minded colleague who takes responsibility for his or her work. You also possess:

Demonstrable experience with CNC within metal or sheet metal processing
Experience reading technical drawings
Technical insight and a sense for dimensions
An independent and structured working attitude
An eye for quality and detail
Willingness to further develop yourself through training or courses
You speak the Dutch language
