The role

As a Cleanroom Assembler at VDL ETG Eindhoven, you will work on the assembly of complex mechatronic modules and systems in a high-tech cleanroom environment. Your activities go beyond following work instructions; you understand what you are building and actively contribute ideas to the process. You will work with technical drawings, bills of materials, and assembly instructions, but you will also encounter situations where you must independently assess, adjust, or suggest solutions.

Within our cleanroom, you will work on various types of activities, such as:

• Assembling complex modules and complete systems
• Precision mechanical assembly with high accuracy and small tolerances
• Testing, measuring, and adjusting systems
• Quality control, inspection, and any potential overhaul work
• Prototype work where work instructions are not always complete

You are responsible for:

• The independent assembly of complex modules and systems;
• The interpretation of technical drawings and documentation;
• Ensuring quality and accuracy in your own work;
• Identifying deviations and actively contributing ideas for improvements;
• Supporting or guiding less experienced colleagues where necessary;
• Working according to cleanroom guidelines and high quality standards.

You have experience with the assembly of complex modules or mechatronic systems and are accustomed to working independently. You understand how mechatronic systems are constructed and take responsibility for the quality and operation of the final product. Additionally:
