Good sprinkler advice requires more than just technical knowledge. It requires insight, experience, and the ability to translate complex issues into solutions that truly work. This is precisely where you, as an advisor, make the difference.

At vb&t Brandveiligheid, you will work on challenging and diverse projects, from new construction to complex existing buildings. You will be given the freedom to advise independently, develop technical solutions, and guide projects from start to finish. You will do this within a compact and expert team, where short lines of communication, collaboration, and substantive quality are central.

As a sprinkler technology advisor, you will work independently or in a team with experienced fellow advisors on high-profile fire safety assignments. You will be active in various sectors, from retail and healthcare to logistics. You are responsible for designing automatic fire extinguishing systems, often as part of an integral fire safety advisory project. These can be new construction projects, but also expansions or modifications to existing installations.

A glimpse of your activities:

• determining design data for automatic fire extinguishing systems;

• drafting design basis documents (DBDs);

• surveying sprinkler installations and translating findings into concrete recommendations and/or potential DBDs;

• substantively developing inspection and advisory reports;

• guiding certification processes, including attending CCV inspections on behalf of clients;

• consulting with various parties, such as certification bodies, manufacturers, installers, building owners, project developers, municipalities, and safety regions;

• providing objective advice to clients from a technical perspective;

• collaborating with fellow fire safety advisors on integral projects.

You are a go-getter, maintain an overview, and have an eye for detail. You enjoy working independently but are also someone who helps colleagues when necessary. You switch smoothly between different parties and can express complex matters clearly.
