You possess HBO/WO (higher professional/university) level of working and thinking and preferably have a completed technical education in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics. Additionally, you have experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel. Experience with linking Office packages to the AutoCAD API is a major advantage.
Preferably, you have in-depth technical knowledge of hydraulics, pump technology, and process and/or water treatment technology.
As a person, you have strong spatial insight and find it interesting to delve deeper into the specific technology behind swimming pool installations. You work accurately and have a sharp eye for quality and detail, but you are also not afraid to take a pragmatic approach.
An attractive salary, based on your knowledge, background, and experience;
Secondary employment benefits according to the Technical Installation Company collective labor agreement (CAO). Think of 25 vacation days, 13 ADV days (reduction of working hours days), pension accrual with the PMT pension fund;
All the basic tools you need to perform your work successfully, such as a laptop, phone, and company car;
The opportunity to develop yourself. Both within Lotec, but also more broadly within (the companies of) the VDK Group;
An informal, friendly working atmosphere with regular fun outings, such as the VDK family party in Phantasialand and various staff parties.
Are you a technically strong engineer who gets energy from complex installations? Do you want to work on challenging swimming pool projects and develop yourself towards innovation and automation? Then this is your chance at Lotec.
As Lead Engineer Swimming Pool Technology, you design and engineer complex water treatment and swimming pool installations. You work with Revit and AutoCAD, perform technical calculations, and contribute to new construction, renovation, and sustainability projects. Together with project management, work preparation, and execution, you ensure that designs are technically correct and practically feasible.
In addition, you will be given the space to further expand your role. As you grow within Lotec, you can develop towards becoming a technical specialist, where you will become responsible for technical standards, innovation, and automation.
So you start from a technical foundation and are given the space to grow into a technical specialist who helps shape the future of Lotec. In short: a versatile engineering role in which you combine technology, innovation, and development, and in which your role can grow alongside your knowledge and ambitions.
You will start as a Swimming Pool Technology Engineer and learn, step by step, all facets of designing and developing water treatment installations. You will perform technical calculations for, among other things, swimming pool installations, heat losses, buffers, and pipe diameters. By working closely with project management, work preparation, execution, and service, you will see directly how your designs are realized in practice and where improvements are possible.
As you gain more experience, you will further develop towards the preliminary stages of projects. You will translate specifications and customer wishes into technical principles, calculations, and schematic diagrams, and support the estimation department in developing quotes, for example with technical descriptions and data sheets.
Additionally, you will keep track of developments in laws and regulations and research new techniques and applications. You will contribute to the standardization and improvement of technical solutions and design standards within Lotec.
In the long term, you can further develop towards technical automation and process optimization. You will then work with, among other things, Excel, Word, AutoCAD, and Lotec's own engineering tools. This allows you to grow into a technical specialist who plays an important role in Lotec's technical direction, innovation, and design automation, and who becomes the point of contact for colleagues, other departments, and management.
