Technical Manager | HOA | Utrecht - Arnhem | 36 - 40 hours per week | Hybrid

A facade that is due for renovation. A roof that can last a few more years, but might be better addressed now. Or an apartment complex where major maintenance and sustainability can be smartly combined.

As a technical professional, you don't just see what needs to be done to a building. You also understand the choices involved. What has priority? What is technically sound? What is financially feasible?

At vb&t VvE Diensten, you will be given the space to apply your technical knowledge to diverse buildings, challenging maintenance issues, and projects where you can see the results yourself.

Do you have a strong background in civil engineering or installation technology, do you have experience with real estate maintenance, and do you enjoy taking on advisory roles and project management alongside the technical aspects? Then we would love to meet you!

What are you going to do?

As a Technical Manager, at the request (assignment) of an HOA, you assess the maintenance state of buildings and advise on necessary and future investments, sustainability, renovations, and renewals.

You visit locations, investigate, and look beyond what is immediately visible. You think ahead, weigh technical possibilities, and identify where maintenance and sustainability can reinforce each other. Furthermore, your main responsibilities consist of:

• Planning technical management;

• Drafting specifications and requesting quotes;

• Preparing, advising the HOA, starting, supervising, and delivering planned maintenance, renovations, and renewals;

• Drafting completion reports, settling completion points, and managing the associated warranty documents;

• Proactively identifying potential problems and bottlenecks of a technical nature within the HOA complexes.

The beautiful thing about this position? You don't just stop at the advice. When the HOA decides to carry out work, in many cases you also get the opportunity to supervise the project. From preparation and coordination with executing parties to quality control and final delivery.

You work together with experienced technical colleagues and HOA Managers. You can brainstorm about complex issues, exchange knowledge, and make use of the various specialisms within vb&t.

You will be given the space to truly practice your profession.

You are a technical professional who looks beyond the observation that maintenance is needed. You want to understand why something happens, what solutions are possible, and what is the wisest choice in the long term. You can form a technical judgment independently and know that good advice must not only be substantively correct, but also understandable and executable.

You feel at home in the combination of technology, organization, and advising. You switch easily between colleagues and executing parties, dare to be critical, and know how to substantiate your position well.

You don't need to know all the specifics of HOA management yet. What we find more important is that you have a solid technical foundation, bring experience in maintenance or real estate, and are curious about the possibilities within this field.
