A glimpse of your tasks:

• You process salaries, payroll taxes, allowances, supplements, and other financial compensations for employees according to the applicable legal rules and collective labor agreements and advise clients on the process;

• You comply with local and national laws and regulations regarding payroll administration, taxes, and social security in the correct manner and advise clients on this;

• You have contact with various authorities such as the Tax Administration, UWV, or pension funds to arrange matters properly for clients.

• You think along about possibilities for process optimization for your clients;

• You guide clients in the setup of personnel and payroll administration;

• You step in for clients to assist on-site during leave or absenteeism.

As a Trainee Payroll Specialist, you will get to know the diversity of Payroll in the broadest sense of the word. You will get the chance to develop yourself into a true specialist with technical and CBA knowledge, so as to act as a sparring partner for your own clients and colleagues. We work for clients in various sectors such as Agro, Hospitality, Transport, Healthcare, Retail, Technology, and Education. Each sector has its own specific challenges, and together we will look at which challenge suits you.

You are part of the team and get all the space to truly learn the profession. You start in a learning environment where development is central and where you have training sessions several times a week. You will learn everything about the technical aspects of the profession, and during the traineeship, you will also become acquainted with the AFAS and Loket systems. In this way, you build a solid foundation within the payroll field step by step. The training days are entirely dedicated to your development. On those days, you will receive extensive explanations from experienced colleagues and then work on practice exercises yourself. In our demo environments, you immediately apply what you have learned, so that you not only understand the knowledge but can also truly use it. Additionally, attention is paid to the themes of the Praktijkdiploma loonadministratie (PDL) training, so that you can take the exams well-prepared and obtain the diploma.

By practicing a lot, asking questions, and doing, you will grow quickly in your role. This is how you get the hang of the profession and develop yourself into an independent Payroll Specialist, with the confidence and knowledge to make a difference for clients.
