As a Junior Accountancy Assistant Transport & Logistics, you will work daily with entrepreneurs facing challenges such as rising costs, sustainability, staffing issues, and digitalization. You help them with reliable financial information, so they can continue to steer their business with confidence. At our Roosendaal office, you will be part of a dedicated team where collaboration, development, and entrepreneurship are central.

As a Junior Accountancy Assistant Transport & Logistics, you support transport and logistics entrepreneurs in gaining insight into their financial performance. You will get to know the sector and develop yourself into a valuable sparring partner for clients. You won't work in the office every day, but will also carry out activities at the client's location. This way, you truly get to know the client and know what is happening on the ground.

A glimpse of your tasks

• You prepare annual accounts for transport and logistics enterprises;

• You process, check, and analyze financial administrations;

• You prepare simple tax returns;

• You identify financial developments and opportunities for clients;

• You support reporting that helps entrepreneurs optimize their business operations;

• You maintain contact with clients and fellow specialists within Van Oers;

• You contribute to process improvements and further digitalization of administrative processes;

You are curious, accurate, and interested in entrepreneurship. You get energy from a sector where planning, efficiency, and continuity are essential. You have strong communication skills and understand what occupies entrepreneurs in the transport and logistics sector. You know how to translate financial insights in a practical and understandable way, allowing clients to see immediately what this means for their daily business operations. Additionally, you enjoy working with colleagues to provide optimal support to clients.

Furthermore, we ask:

• A completed MBO, AD, or HBO degree in Accountancy, Finance & Control or similar;

• You have an interest in the transport and logistics industry;

• You have an affinity with digitalization and process improvement;

• Ambition to further develop yourself both professionally and personally.
