As a Senior Developer within Digital Solutions, you help our organization develop smart digital solutions that make the work of our colleagues easier, more efficient, and better. You work together with colleagues from various fields, such as F&C, Accountancy, Tax, and HR, to translate their challenges into practical and scalable digital solutions.

You are involved in the entire development process: from sharpening the requirements and making technical choices to developing, testing, implementing, and managing the solution. In doing so, you look beyond just the technical question. You think along about standardization, reusability, integrations, security, and management.

Within the Digital Solutions team, you take a professional leadership role based on your experience. You help in making technical choices, monitor the quality of what we develop, and help colleagues grow in their technical skills.

• Together with the internal client, you translate complex challenges into concrete digital solutions;

• You design, develop, test, and implement applications and solutions that can be deployed within various professional fields;

• You develop integrations with existing applications, data sources, and APIs and ensure that solutions align well with our existing IT landscape;

• You make conscious choices in architecture, technology, and development standards, with attention to scalability, security, performance, and manageability;

• You work closely with other specialists within Digital Solutions in areas such as data, AI, automation, and process optimization;

• You provide professional guidance to fellow developers, perform code reviews, and help to further professionalize our development standards and working methods.

You are an experienced Developer who gets energy from building solutions that are actually used. You combine technical depth with a pragmatic attitude. You can independently design and realize a technical solution, but you also actively seek collaboration. You can make complex technical subjects understandable for colleagues who are not developers themselves and dare to be critical at the same time when another solution is technically or organizationally better.

Furthermore, we ask:

• A completed degree at HBO or WO level and relevant experience in computer science and software engineering;

• Extensive relevant experience as a software developer and experience in independently designing and realizing applications;

• Experience with modern development technologies, APIs, databases, and cloud environments;

• Experience with setting up high-quality software, including version control, testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and technical documentation;

• Good communication skills and the ability to engage and guide colleagues professionally;

• An excellent command of the Dutch language;

• Domain knowledge within SME Accountancy, Finance & Control, HR, or Tax/Legal is a plus.
