Accounting Assistant - Finance

As an Accounting Assistant within the Finance team, you will ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient processing and payment of purchase invoices. You play a central role in the Purchase to Pay (P2P) process, perform accurate checks, and monitor progress. Additionally, from day one, you will have the opportunity to help build improvements and innovations. In the short term, we will start the implementation of a new or optimized purchase invoice processing system. In this role, you will work closely with Procurement, IT, and Finance, quickly learn our processes, and translate them into an efficient and future-oriented way of working. You will also make an active contribution to optimizing work processes within accounts payable and project organization.

• You book, process, and code purchase invoices in the system.

• You manage the entire payment process from start to finish.

• You are the point of contact for supplier inquiries regarding purchase invoices and handle received payment reminders.

• You are the internal point of contact for the entire P2P process.

• From within the P2P process, you are involved in and contribute to the project organization.

• You actively contribute to projects and the optimization of work processes in the field of accounts payable.
