Functional Administrator Legal Tech & AI

• Experienced in functional management, application management, or a similar role and possesses a higher professional education (HBO) level of work and thinking.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Office applications.

• Interested in AI and able to apply AI practically and responsibly in your own work and within the organization.

• Analytical, service-oriented, and strong in communication.

• Structured and pragmatic mindset and willing to occasionally support colleagues with simple physical IT tasks.

• Available 36-40 hours per week

• Preferably familiar with iManage, LegalSense and/or AFAS.

Technology and AI are rapidly changing legal services. Therefore, we are looking for a functional administrator who ensures our applications align optimally with our colleagues' work and translates the possibilities of Microsoft 365 and AI into practical, responsible applications.

As a functional administrator, you ensure that our applications and digital workflows align well with daily practice and continue to evolve. You manage functional configuration and authorizations, keep documentation and work instructions up to date, and translate user wishes, bottlenecks, and opportunities into functional improvements. In doing so, you guide changes from testing to implementation.

You form the connection between users, processes, and technology and work closely with the Head of IT, colleagues from the organization, and our external IT partners. Together with the Head of IT, you form the internal IT team of our office in Utrecht.

• Microsoft 365 & core applications

  • Your area of focus includes, among others, Microsoft 365, iManage, LegalSense, and AFAS.

  • You utilize the possibilities within these applications to design work processes in legal practice and business services more smartly and simply.

• AI applications & adoption

  • You work with a wide range of AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio, Chat.VBK, Legora, and other specialist legal tools.

  • You assess where these and future AI tools can offer added value and contribute to pilots, implementations, and their further development.

  • You develop instructions and help colleagues to apply the available AI tools consciously, effectively, and responsibly.

• IT resources & practical support

  • You manage the IT inventory, including the registration, issuance, return, and replacement of equipment.

  • Axians provides first- and second-line support and is on-site three days a week. On the remaining days, you assist in urgent situations if necessary, for example, by connecting or swapping equipment.

• A gross monthly salary between €4,000 and €5,500 based on 40 hours per week, depending on knowledge and experience.
