Within our Banking & Finance team, seven lawyers are active working for (inter)national financial institutions and companies in the fields of financial supervision, finance & securities, and financial litigation. Our clientele consists of various financial service providers such as payment companies, investment firms, clearing firms, leasing companies, (listed) companies, private equity, pension funds, fintech companies, and crowdfunding platforms. Additionally, we also represent borrowers and companies engaged in (financial) restructuring. Since 2018, our Banking & Finance team has held a ranking in The Legal 500 in the field of Banking & Finance: Financial Services Regulatory.

To support and expand our practice, we are looking for a legal assistant and/or junior trainee lawyer. As a legal assistant, you will initially start on a full-time basis, with the possibility to grow into the position of trainee lawyer. The position is set up for a period of two to four months, depending on the possible start date of the professional training. As a trainee lawyer, we strive to train you to become a successful lawyer. Under the guidance of experienced colleagues, you will quickly receive responsibilities and play an independent role in files.

In your role, you will be involved in writing advice on financial laws and regulations, conducting case law research, drafting agreements, writing notes, articles, and blogs, and following relevant developments. Additionally, you will be closely involved in client inquiries. Our team is known for its personal approach and possesses a number of highly experienced lawyers. This means you will work directly with senior associates and partners within the team.
