Curious & to the point
Our employees are driven, always on the move, and connect with each other, our clients, and society. It is no coincidence that business decision-makers have elected us the best legal service provider in the Netherlands (MT1000) four times (2019, 2021, 2023, and 2025). Based on client focus, product leadership, excellent execution, and NPS (recommendation score). Curious about working in legal/notarial/business services at VBK? Then watch here our video and stories from colleagues.
In our field, standing still means falling behind. We therefore offer you all the space to develop and grow. Substantively, but also in terms of soft skills. At the same time, there is more than work. We therefore celebrate our successes together and we attach great value to our mutual connection. This is how we stay in motion, both individually and as a team, to achieve the best results together.

Our team consists of six lawyers and a paralegal. We work on diverse tenancy law and other civil real estate matters for a wide range of clients: from commercial companies to government institutions, from landlords to tenants, and from residential to commercial premises and other commercial real estate.
That mix makes our work substantively varied. One case requires social thinking, while another revolves around large financial interests or complex legal structures. In addition, we regularly work together with other teams within the firm, such as Environmental Law, Procurement Law, Construction Law, and Notarial Law.
In your role, you will work on both tenancy law and broader real estate files. Additionally, you can regularly collaborate on large cross-practice projects.
What characterizes our team? We work at a high substantive level, but in a way that remains personal and accessible. There is room to think along, ask questions, and give feedback—even when it is busy. We find it important that you quickly feel at home in the team, both substantively and personally. Besides work, there is also room for socializing, whether during a drink, lunch, or a team outing to Paris.
Our team is committed to growth and the intention is to expand significantly. This brings various opportunities for career progression. Additionally, guidance from a distinguished professor of tenancy law offers you the opportunity, if you wish, to further develop in the fields of publishing and teaching.
