Are you a lawyer with experience in procurement law ready for a new challenge? Do you enjoy being part of a close-knit and multidisciplinary team? In addition to procurement law, do you also have an affinity for construction law, spatial development, the social domain, or administrative law? Then we are looking for you!
The opportunity to further specialize in procurement law, within a broad and multidisciplinary real estate and environmental law practice.
A versatile advisory and litigation practice, in which you work for both public and private clients.
A pleasant working environment with much attention to personal relationships and collaboration.
All the space to further develop yourself personally and professionally, including through our VBK Academy and the possibility of following a specialization course.
Ample opportunity to get to know your colleagues during many social activities, such as the weekly Thursday afternoon drinks, sports activities, outings, and office parties.
A market-conform salary and a wide range of secondary employment benefits, such as a Microsoft Copilot+ laptop, iPhone, lease car or mobility budget, lease bike scheme, childcare scheme, and flexible (home) working hours.
Four to seven years of experience working as a lawyer in procurement law and an affinity with an adjacent area of law, such as construction law, spatial development, the social domain, or administrative law.
Available 32-40 hours per week.
A team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues from other disciplines.
Analytically strong and able to advise and litigate in a clear, persuasive, and careful manner.
Our employees are driven, always in motion, and connect with each other, our clients, and society. It is no coincidence that business decision-makers have elected us four times (2019, 2021, 2023, and 2025) as the best legal service provider in the Netherlands (MT1000). Based on client-centricity, product leadership, excellent execution, and NPS (recommendation score). Curious about working in law/notary/business services at VBK? Then watch our video and stories from colleagues here.
In our field, standing still means falling behind. We therefore offer you all the space to develop and grow. Professionally, but also in terms of soft skills. At the same time, there is more than just work. We celebrate our successes together and we attach great value to our mutual connection. This is how we stay in motion, both individually and as a team, to achieve the best results together.

Our procurement lawyers are part of the administrative and environmental law team. This team of 14 driven and specialized lawyers is supported by an excellent secretarial staff.
Our team is characterized by an informal, ambitious, and collegial atmosphere in which collaboration is central. We advise and litigate for governments, developers, as well as (utility) companies. We are also the house counsel for a large number of municipalities. We work on socially relevant matters.
Within our team, you will focus primarily on procurement law. You will advise and litigate for both contracting authorities and bidders, in various sectors and in complex procurement and tendering processes. In doing so, you will also regularly act in procurement law injunction proceedings.
Ideally, you also bring experience or affinity with an adjacent area of law, such as construction law, spatial development, the social domain, or administrative law (including subsidy law). It is precisely at these intersections that much of our practice lies. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues involved in spatial and project development, real estate, construction disputes, administrative law, and environmental law.
