Site Manager South Region, based in Weert | 32-40 hours | Scale 8

At TenneT, we work on the energy supply of tomorrow. The energy transition requires the expansion and renewal of our high-voltage infrastructure. As a Site Manager, you play a key role in this. You ensure that work at our high-voltage substations is carried out safely, according to schedule, and with the correct quality.

As Site Manager , you are the director on-site. You are present where the work happens and ensure that projects at existing high-voltage substations are carried out safely and in a controlled manner, while the installations mostly remain in operation. You work closely with Project Leads, Lead Engineers, Project Coordinators, Contract Managers, contractors, and supervisors. In addition, you are the one who maintains an overview, identifies bottlenecks, and intervenes when safety, quality, or progress is under pressure. You are responsible for:

• Ensuring that work at high-voltage substations is carried out safely.
• Monitoring planning, quality, and progress during execution.
• Directing and coordinating contractors and executing parties.
• Timely identification and resolution of bottlenecks during execution.
• A successful handover of projects to operations and maintenance.

You are a natural leader who maintains an overview in complex situations. You know how to bring different interests together, dare to address people, and take responsibility when necessary. Safety always comes first in this regard. Additionally, you bring the following:

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of work and thinking. Technical affinity or a technical background.
• Experience in a coordinating or project-based role within a technical environment.
• Good command of the Dutch language.
• Experience within the high-voltage sector is a plus, not a requirement.

Therefore, for full-time employment, we offer you:

• A one-year contract with a view to a permanent appointment and a one-month probationary period, based on 40 hours per week (from 32 hours, this is negotiable).
• A salary in scale 8: € 4276 to € 8443 per month with 8% holiday allowance and 6% year-end bonus.
• A solid pension via ABP: we pay 70% of your premium.
