Rail Crane Operator

You will be part of a nationally operating team of enthusiastic and professional Krol operators. For maintenance and guidance of your Krol, you will occasionally come to Zutphen, but you will primarily work at various locations throughout the country.

As a Krol operator at Strukton Rail, you operate the crane on lorries (Krol) for rail maintenance and projects. Your workday begins with thorough preparation: you study instructions, coordinate with the supervisor, and assess the feasibility of the planned activities.

During the work, you monitor safety and take action in the event of deviations from the regulations. Upon completion, you prepare the Krol for the next shift and ensure a neat and orderly workplace. Safety is central to everything you do, from complying with rules to the use of personal protective equipment.

• You operate the Krol and perform activities in accordance with planning and safety requirements;
• You check the feasibility of assignments together with the supervisor;
• You ensure that the Krol is ready for the next shift.

You have a passion for technology and understand that safety comes before everything. You communicate clearly with colleagues and explain why certain activities must be performed differently. Flexibility is a must, as you also work nights and weekends.

Ideally, you possess the following certificates (or are willing to obtain them, and we will arrange this for you):

• Tool Machinist
• W5.01 certificate
• Lifting certificate >10 TM
