Requirements

What we're looking for

  • A completed HBO (higher professional education) or WO (university) degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in the field of data, information provision, or process improvement.
  • Experience with data analysis and BI tools, such as SQL and Power BI.

The role

Your energy in the plus
As a data quality specialist, you ensure that data is correct, processes improve, and colleagues can better steer based on insights that make an impact for our customers.

What you'll do

  • You start the day with a cup of coffee together with the data management specialist. You discuss the most important priorities and explore opportunities to further improve the quality of customer data and design processes more smartly.
  • Next, you dive into an analysis of a source system. While investigating data quality issues, you discover a smart connection between data sources that allows you to directly increase the quality of large amounts of data.
  • After lunch, you discuss a targeted calling campaign with colleagues from customer contact teams to supplement missing customer data. Using a Power BI dashboard developed by you, you show exactly where the gaps are and what impact an improvement will have.
  • Later in the afternoon, you work on monitoring and analyzing data quality indicators. You investigate the causes of recurring problems and implement improvement actions to prevent the same errors from occurring again.
  • You end the day with a session together with colleagues from Management Information. Drawing on your expertise, you think along about improving the customer demand forecasting model, where reliable and complete data forms the basis for better insights and decision-making.
