For this position, we are looking for a candidate at scale 9 or 10. Based on your experience, expertise, and potential, we will determine the final scaling together.

The role

At ABN AMRO, we are building a personal bank in the digital age. Customer Interactions & Engagement helps better understand customer needs, create smooth customer journeys, and deliver meaningful customer experiences at scale. Data is essential in this: you and your colleagues translate data into clear dashboards, work closely with stakeholders, and use tools such as PowerBI, SQL, Python, and AI to continuously improve insights and processes.

What you'll do

The BI & Analytics Corporate Banking Clients team is one of the central data teams of the Data Domain Customer Interaction & Engagement. You aggregate and combine data from various sources—both internal and external. Is the right data not available? Then you design a way to obtain and collect it yourself together with the data engineer.

You make the data available via custom-made dashboards, which you enrich with engaging layouts and trend analyses. This solid foundation supports your advice. By constantly being in dialogue with your stakeholders, you ensure that your information aligns seamlessly with the needs of the customer. This allows managers and customers to make factual decisions and optimize their sales funnel.

Your profile

You are customer-oriented, analytical, and curious, with a good sense of reality. As an entrepreneur within the bank, you have the drive to continuously improve both customer solutions and yourself. But you never lose sight of risks. As a team player, collaborating comes naturally to you. You like to work hard in a dynamic environment, but you can also maintain perspective when necessary.

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • University level of work and thinking
  • Advisory skills
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with BI tools (PowerBI, DA100 certification; experience with other tools is a plus)
  • Knowledge and experience with data preparation, data stores, data quality, and data analysis. Experience with SQL is essential
  • Experience with Databricks and Python is a plus
  • Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written

It is an open team with a good atmosphere, where personal development is strongly encouraged. The team works hybrid, typically 2 to 3 days in the office.
