Logistics Warehouse Worker

As a logistics worker, you ensure that materials and meters are ready on time for technicians and projects. In this way, you help Stedin move forward every day with the expansion and maintenance of the energy grid.

Our energy grid is growing and being well maintained, but this cannot happen without the right materials. From the decentralized warehouse in Rotterdam, you ensure the correct and reliable processing of material flows and the associated administration. You receive, check, register, and ship goods and meters, so that technicians can continue their work and projects are provided with the right supplies.

A day as a warehouse logistics worker:

• You receive cables, meters, electricity, and gas items from the central warehouse (Vianen), check them, and place them in the correct location.
• You ensure that the "pick" stock is continuously up to date so that technicians have sufficient supplies to perform their work.
• You process returned products, pull and cut cables, and ensure that orders are processed correctly administratively.
• You keep the warehouse, equipment, and environmental park in order and act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

• A gross monthly salary between € 2,888.- and € 4,302.- (based on 40 hours), 24.5 vacation days, and pension accrual with ABP, where we pay 70% of the premium.
• On top of your salary, you receive a personal budget of 24% (including 8% holiday allowance). You choose what to do with the budget: for example, extra salary or (up to max. 35.5) vacation days. You can see how it works in our calculation tool.
• € 700.- (gross) annually to spend on your own energy, for example for your sports membership or your new sportswear.

On top of that, there is this:

• You travel to the office using the public transport free-access scheme. This is a public transport card that you can also use in your free time. Or with the flexible travel scheme, where you choose, combine, and vary how you travel to work and receive an extra allowance if you come by bicycle.
• Your development is central: attending events with colleagues and following training and education. This is how you get the best out of yourself.
• A laptop and phone, or € 30 net per month if you use your own phone.

You work accurately, communicate clearly, and feel responsible for the proper handling of materials and administration. You collaborate pleasantly with colleagues, but can also organize and perform your tasks independently.

Furthermore, you have:

• MBO work and thinking level;
• A forklift and BHV (Emergency Response) certificate, or the willingness to obtain these certificates.
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook and sufficient administrative skills. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
