Data Scientist BI - Senior

As a Senior Data Scientist BI, you help the organization extract maximum value from data. You translate complex issues into concrete insights, dashboards, predictive models, and AI applications that contribute to better processes, decision-making, and demonstrable business value.
As a Data Scientist, you are part of the Business Intelligence team. The BI team supports all labels within the MSPS Group. As a result, you will deal with diverse issues and contribute to organization-wide decision-making, KPIs, and strategic insights. You will work closely with stakeholders to further develop data-driven working and support the organization with data and AI solutions. In this role, you are not only technically strong, but you also understand the business and know how to bring stakeholders along in the possibilities of data and AI.
Developing, implementing, and managing data warehouses, data models, and ETL processes for the unlocking, integration, and analysis of data, and ensuring controlled implementation of changes (release management).
Analyzing information needs and business issues and translating them into suitable BI and data science solutions for management information.
Providing organization-wide management information, analyses, predictive models, and AI solutions to support tactical and strategic decision-making.
Identifying opportunities to extract more value from available data, including AI and advanced analytics applications.
Improving and ensuring the quality, integrity, reliability, and adoption of data and BI solutions.
Co-shaping the roadmap, architecture, and lifecycle of the Data & BI product and contributing to a future-proof data and BI landscape.
Coaching colleagues, performing peer reviews, and actively contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.
Actively contributing to the development of the BI team into a high-performing team with a strong data, innovation, and improvement culture.

The current BI team consists of three BI specialists, one Data Scientist, and one Product Owner. The BI team is part of the Finance department and is managed, together with the Business Control department, by the Manager Business Control & Business Intelligence. Together with your direct colleagues from BC&BI and the stakeholders within MSPS, you will work on data-driven solutions that have a direct impact on the organization.
