What we're looking for

You possess an MBO level of working and thinking, preferably in the direction of logistics, or have developed this level through relevant work experience;
You possess a valid forklift certificate and have sufficient driving experience;
You have a good command of the Dutch language, both orally and in writing;
You have knowledge of working safely with hazardous substances and hazardous waste;

Nice to have

You have experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant office systems;
You are willing to follow vocational training and courses;

Pay & benefits

What you'll get

You receive a 13th month, 8% holiday allowance, annual profit sharing, and a pension scheme in which Vlisco pays two-thirds of the premium;

The role

In this versatile role, you will be active across various logistics departments within Vlisco. From the Receiving Center and Internal Distribution to our warehouses for Dyes & Chemicals and technical materials, and the Waste Depot: you ensure that everything runs smoothly. Additionally, you will contribute to the shipment of goods to our African branches and support daily activities in the mailroom. In this way, you play an important role in the logistics process behind our colorful creations.

What you'll do

This concerns a position in day shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ordering, checking, storing, and issuing technical items;
Checking, storing, and issuing dyes and chemicals, including loading and unloading them;
Receiving, checking, and registering incoming goods;
Receiving, storing, and preparing items for shipment to our African branches;
Collecting, storing, and ensuring the correct disposal of waste materials;
Processing and registering stock movements in the ERP system;
Loading, unloading, and internally distributing incoming and outgoing goods using a forklift;
Performing light maintenance work on the forklift;
Sending, receiving, and internally distributing mail and parcels.
