The role

Location: Breukelen
Employment: Full-time

Do you want to work in an organization where people can grow, be themselves, and where different perspectives are truly valued? In this role as HR Advisor / HR Generalist, you will contribute directly to a positive employee experience and to the further development of our business.

Working closely with (local) managers and various teams within Benelux, you will operate from Breukelen. You act as a trusted advisor, ensure smooth HR processes, and play an active role in strengthening our people approach. You are visible, solution-oriented, and take initiative - exactly what we look for in our HR professionals.

What you'll do

  • You stimulate initiatives that contribute to a healthy, inclusive, and inspiring work environment.
  • You truly see employees, recognize what is happening, and translate this into concrete actions that contribute to both personal and business growth.
  • You support managers in areas such as performance, absenteeism, recruitment, reorganization, talent development, DE&I, L&D, and employee relations.
  • You are the first point of contact, provide transparent advice, and help managers be successful through dialogue, coaching, and clear communication.
  • You deliver relevant HR analyses that contribute to improving KPIs.
  • You implement global HR processes and policies in collaboration with HRBPs and local leaders.
  • You work with HR Operations (GSS) and Payroll to ensure lifecycle processes (onboarding, movement, offboarding) run efficiently and compliantly.
  • You contribute to a strong employee experience through clear, timely, and empathetic communication.
  • You collaborate on HR programs and projects within your focus area (talent, recruitment, performance, C&B, wellbeing).
  • You look for opportunities to simplify or automate processes, creating more space for impactful HR activities.
  • You actively contribute to a culture of ownership, growth, fun, and performance - and you set the example yourself.
  • You support managers with transparent storytelling towards teams.
  • You communicate proactively about HR updates, changes, and processes.
  • You take into account the impact of decisions on both the business and the employees.

Who are we looking for?

We believe strongly in the power of diversity - in background, perspective, and experience. A traditional HR career with a specific degree is welcome, but certainly not a requirement. What matters most to us is your mindset and your ability to connect, show ownership, and create impact.

Background & experience

  • Experience in HR is a plus, but we also encourage candidates with other relevant experience or an eager-to-learn mindset to apply.
  • Knowledge of labor law and absenteeism is useful, but a willingness to pick this up quickly is at least as important.
  • Experience within an international environment is a nice-to-have, but not a hard requirement.

Skills & competencies

  • You are solution-oriented, think in terms of possibilities, and work from a place of trust.
  • You communicate clearly, are able to coach, and dare to challenge in a constructive manner.
  • You take responsibility and dare to make decisions, even when it is not yet 100% perfect.
  • You are digitally proficient (Office 365, HR systems such as Workday - or you learn quickly).
  • You command Dutch and English at a professional level, or are willing to further develop in these.

We expressly encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply - even if you do not meet all the points.

For us, potential, attitude, and motivation are at least as important as experience.

Practical information

  • Scope: Benelux
  • Travel: approx. 5% within Benelux
  • Work location: Breukelen (min. 2 days in the office; hybrid working possible)
  • Collaboration: Local HR teams, COEs, and functional HRBPs
  • Hierarchy: No direct reports, but informal coaching of colleagues

Do you want to make an impact - on people and on the business - in an environment where growth, diversity, ownership, and fun are central? Then we would love to get in touch with you!
