HR Advisor

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in HRM or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of experience as an HR Advisor, HR Business Partner, or in a similar position.
• Knowledge of labor law, absenteeism, and daily HR practice.
• The ability to pick up speed by working independently while simultaneously seeking out collaboration.
• A practical attitude and the courage to engage in conversation when necessary.
• Availability of 32 to 40 hours per week.

• An annual contract with a view to permanent employment.
• A salary up to € 5,000 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on experience.

Do you want to work on diverse HR issues within an organization that is constantly in motion? As an HR Advisor at Eurofins Food, Feed & Water, you will support multiple business units with advice on, among other things, labor law, absenteeism, employment conditions, organizational development, and leadership. You are a strong interlocutor for managers, think along with them regarding both daily HR issues and strategic developments, and contribute to a work environment in which employees and teams can be successful.

As an HR Advisor, you are responsible for the HR support of multiple business units within Eurofins Food, Feed & Water. From your role as a member of the management team, you advise and support managers on various personnel and organizational issues. You switch easily between operational activities and topics with a more tactical or strategic character.

You advise on labor law issues, absenteeism, performance, development, and employment conditions. Additionally, you guide organizational changes, support managers with complex cases, and make an active contribution to HR projects and improvement initiatives. You analyze issues, map out interests, and translate these into practical and workable solutions.

You support two business units in Heerenveen and, in addition, a business unit with multiple locations in the Netherlands. As a result, you work together with various managers, teams, and stakeholders and deal with diverse challenges. The combination of freedom, responsibility, and variety makes this position particularly dynamic.

You are someone who easily makes contact with different people within the organization. You switch between daily HR issues and topics that require more preparation, analysis, or coordination. In doing so, you know how to set priorities and maintain an overview, even when many things are happening at once.

At Eurofins Food, Feed & Water, we work from eleven locations in the Netherlands on safe food, animal feed, and water. We do this through laboratory research, inspections, and advisory services for clients both domestically and abroad.

You will join a national HR team of ten colleagues. From Heerenveen, you will work closely with two fellow HR Advisors, recruitment, and HR administration. Together, you support approximately 280 employees and managers. Although not everyone is at the same location, the lines are short and colleagues easily find each other for consultation, support, or a fresh perspective on an issue.
