What we're looking for

  • You have at least an MBO (vocational) work and thinking level;

  • Experience in a laboratory or production environment is a plus, but not a requirement; we will train you;

  • You work accurately, independently, and have an eye for detail;

  • You are physically fit and can lift samples of 20–25 kg;

  • You speak good Dutch and/or English is important, because many colleagues speak English and our systems are largely English-language;

  • You are flexibly deployable and willing to work in 2-shift service (in the future).

The role

Then this position is truly for you! In this versatile role, you will work in two different departments. You jump in wherever the workload is highest: one day you are in the Fire Assay lab, the next day you are working in the PREP department. Flexibility is essential, as we work in a production environment with continuously changing priorities.

What you'll do

  • Accurately weighing samples (starting task);

  • Performing Fire Assay analyses in the long term (upon good performance);

  • Checking data and identifying deviations;

  • Accurately archiving measurement results;

  • Working according to strict safety, environmental, and quality regulations.

  • Filling samples for the lab (starting task);

  • Working with machines that prepare samples for analysis;

  • Performing quality and process controls;

  • Assisting with the maintenance of equipment;

  • Collaborating with colleagues in a close-knit team.
