In their own words
About the company & team
With more than 4,200 proud colleagues, we take an extra step to connect the Netherlands as well as possible to the rest of the world. Innovation, safety, and collaboration are at the forefront. Together, we give more meaning to travel and contribute to the economy and society. For more than 100 years. In the Netherlands and beyond. Did you know, by the way, that:
... Royal Schiphol Group is the owner and operator of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Rotterdam The Hague Airport, and Lelystad Airport?
... a total of 68.8 million travelers departed from, via, or to Schiphol Airport in 2025?
... you as a Baggage Operational Support employee strengthen the Schiphol Operations business area.
From the moment a passenger leaves home until the moment the aircraft takes off: we ensure a pleasant and safe departure for all passengers. In close cooperation with you, about 1,100 other colleagues, 140 airlines, and various handlers, we streamline processes from A to Z. For example, we ensure that a colleague is ready to assist persons with reduced mobility, from the parking lot to the gate. And that enough baggage belts are available. Also during (un)planned maintenance and delays. Together, we work every day on a robust department with a responsible and reliable airport process.
